Full Job Description

The Telephonist role will include:o Dealing with client queries in a polite and professional manner, maintaining exceptional standards of customer service and upholding the company's professional image at all times.o Able to maintain confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail.o A strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.o Able to deal with complex issues fast and efficiently putting clients first.

o Managing telephone and email enquiries and maintaining accurate client records against the computer database.o Manage all queries from customerso Efficiently manage queries from customers in accordance with processes and guidelineso Keep up to date with treatment knowledgeo Assist and support other team memberso To assist new starters with information and advice on the direction of calls including listening in after induction.o Answer all incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner;o Announce callers when transferring;o Take accurate messages and distribute accordingly;o Ad hoc front desk duties as required.o The receptionist part of this role will includeo Background in working at health or corporate receptionisto Well-presented, confident, punctual, reliable, intuitive.o Act in professional, friendly, polite and positive manner with clients at all times.

We are currently seeking professional and well-presented individuals to join our Switchboard team. Switchboard is a crucial department within Dorset County Hospital and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The individual must be professional, reliable, have excellent interpersonal skills and with excellent written English skills. You should also have excellent communication skills., o Act in professional, friendly, polite and positive manner with clients at all times.o Able to maintain confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail.o A strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.o Able to deal with complex issues fast and efficiently putting clients first.
