Are you able to support an ever-changing environment to improve service delivery?
Frimley Health Switchboard Operators are a friendly team who cover a 24hr service, 7 days per week.
Estates Switchboard is recruiting Bank Evening /Afternoon Switchboard Operators to join our team at Wexham Park Hospital
The vacancies are as follows:
+ Bank Operators
+, Covering Weekday Evenings 4pm - 9pm, The successful candidate will need to:
+ provide a professional and courteous service at all times to all incoming calls to the Trust
+ Be responsive to all call types particularly those that support patient care
+ understand and empathise with the diverse population that the service supports, + To answer all calls to the Estates and Non-Clinical Services Help Desk in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner
+ Enter data accurately into the Planet FM database
+ Organise taxi bookings for Trust staff in line with the Trust Taxi Policy (TPP172)
+ Look Up Patient Whereabouts Using the Epic Application
+ Cover annual leave or sickness for other Operators when necessary. (Please note that duties may need to be changed at short notice to cover sickness or emergency annual leave)
Switchboard
+ Ensure the switchboard is always covered
+ Act as a first point of contact for patient enquiries and sometimes complaints, answering calls in a prompt and polite fashion
+ Take down accurate information and pass on when required
+ Ensure all emergency lines are answered immediately
+ Act on Trust procedure in the event of an alarm call e.g. Cardiac arrest, fire alarm, major incident
+ Be aware of the Trusts major incident policies and procedures and act on them accordingly
+ Take precise details and act, be able to immediately to carry out cardiac, trauma, paediatric bleep calls
