Full Job Description

The Housing Team support adults with mental health needs to access and/or sustain suitable accommodation. The Housing Team comprises of Housing Specialists and Trainee Housing Specialists who are employed by the Trust and co-located with Local Authorities across Sussex., The Housing Team Administration Co-ordinator will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to clinical staff including the manager, supervising the administration team and ensuring the smooth running of the office function, including ensuring sufficient cover is provided in times of sickness and annual leave. To be responsible for maintaining sickness and absence records for all staff and related employee information.,

  • Provide effective secretarial support including diary management, phone calls and typing correspondence to a good standard using Trust Templates in line with Trust guidelines
  • To arrange, prepare the agenda and take minutes for team meetings and other meetings as directed
  • To lead on the administration for the recruitment of staff (i.e. sending interview letters and servicing panel)
  • In conjunction with the manager organise and co-ordinate staff training
  • To complete monthly absence returns for sign off
  • To maintain up to date staff details including emergency contacts
  • To provide and obtain reports and data as required
  • To operate and update any waiting lists within the team
  • To maintain comprehensive paper and electronic filing systems
  • to participate in a rota to cover duty system if required
