Full Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, dynamic and enthusiastic Courier Driver to join the Transport team at Dorset County Hospital.

  • To provide an efficient courier service between the Trust and other health establishments across the county of Dorset
  • A courier service to deliver and collect mail, specimens, vaccines, medical records and occasionally medical gases
  • To provide a courier service which, sorts, delivers and collects mail and sundry items & specimens to and from various healthcare establishments in Dorset and to acute Trusts such as Salisbury, Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Southampton
  • The successful candidate will work without direct supervision ensuring an effective and efficient service is always provided, promoting a positive and professional image at all times.
