Full Job Description
We act on lending transactions across a wide variety of sectors and product areas. Clients span the lending universe from established UK and international banks and alternative lenders through to private equity sponsors, corporates and technology start-ups. The team houses the venture debt practice acting for venture debt providers and many early-stage companies. We are a part of the firm's start-up program supporting over 100 early stage businesses, many of which we have introduced as clients to the firm. We are looking for somebody with strong experience in corporate lending and/or venture debt and growth finance.
We will invest in your ongoing training and development to support your professional goals and help you to thrive in your role from day one. Our opportunities are open to all suitably qualified applicants, so to be considered for this role, you must meet the following skills and experience:
- experience in corporate lending and/or venture debt and growth finance
- good working knowledge of LMA documentation
- at least 6 years PQE
- an ability to run transactions and manage junior associates/trainees
The corporate and leveraged finance team sits within the finance group at CMS. The team deals with a number of varied and interesting practice areas including TMT finance, corporate lending (including corporate real estate lending) and venture debt and growth finance.
