Bar Steward / Manager

The Bar Steward/ Manager will oversee the bar's daily operations, to include opening and closing the bar and cashing up at the end of the shift. Line cleaning and cellar management, including real ales. Ordering and maintaining stock levels. Managing staff training, shifts and holidays. Enforcing safety and security protocols. You will also develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and services. In addition, you will be responsible for creating and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure that the bar runs smoothly and efficiently.

Approximately half of your time will be spent serving behind the bar. The position is 40 hours per week, although this can vary. An on-site two bedroom detached house is included in the package,. Salary negotiable according to experience.
