Barista / All Rounder - London

CTC security clearance required - minimum of 5 years UK residency We are currently recruiting for a full time Barista/ Catering General Assistant to be a part of our team at Government Offices Great George Street (GOGGS), Horse Guards Road, London SW1A 2HQ This is a great opportunity for those looking to develop their career within the hospitality sector, you may begin as a barista but we are always on the look out to progress our team members onto bigger things in the future! GOGG's is an extremely busy, high profile government building where no day is the same. You will be serving parliament members and the hospitality section within this building is extremely fast paced and hands on. We are looking for experienced Barista's who are committed to providing excellent and efficient customer service to assist with the smooth day to day running of the outlet. You will be able to work at pace and in a high volume environment.

• Previous barista experience is essential for this role
• Excellent customer service
• CTC security clearance required - minimum of 5 years UK residency

  £13.15 per hour
• Full time - 1 x 32 hours and 1 x 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, shifts ranging between 7am - 5.30pm
• Evenings and Weekends off
• Immediate start subject to security checks

What you'll be doing
• Serve food and beverages to customers, the building is on Parliament square and hosts many high level civil servants and government ministers.
• Making drinks and some food preperation (heating, plating up as all food is pre prepared off site)
• Operating the till, taking payments and keep any financial records required
• Clean front and back of house areas
• Stocking up and stock rotation
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
• Undertake relevant training as required
