Full Job Description

A stunning B&I location in Milton Keynes for a UK-based building materials supplier. Catering from approximately 100 people daily. We offer breakfast, lunch, a Barista coffee bar and some hospitality. The role is a Monday to Friday operation 7am - 3.30pm, with additional benefit of free parking on site. We are looking for a talented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at one of our fabulous locations in Milton Keynes. The role is a Monday to Friday operation 7am - 3.30pm,

  • To work well in a team, providing food and a great service
  • To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
  • Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.

    You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen as a Kitchen Assistant.
  • You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.,
  • Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Great team player
  • Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
  • You will have the following skills:

  • An organised Kitchen Assistant with attention to detail
  • Knowledge / competencies:
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
