A bartender at Bill's Café and Bar embarks

same as a bartender; from serving drinks to making them running food for

guests and assisting with orders, being that welcoming host at the door, every

fast-paced environment, but you take all this in your stride to ensure everyone, Good Knowledge of Menu and Restaurant Layout :

Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the full menu,

promotions, drinks specifications, restaurant layout, and site-specific working

practices.

Assist in receiving and storing deliveries :

Support the

restaurant operations by assisting in the receiving and storage of deliveries

following the correct handling and storage guidelines.

Take ownership of the bar :

Assume responsibility of the bar, showcasing a proactive

and dedicated approach to duties. This involves overseeing tasks, managing

responsibilities effectively, performing additional duties assigned by the

management and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant

operations.

Drinks Preparation Standards and Consistency :

The Bartender is

dedicated to upholding Bill's standards, ensuring that every drink prepared

maintains our commitment to quality and consistency. All food production is

completed only following the Bill's Drinks Specs and procedures.

Support with floor shifts and duties

Being

cross-trained on the floor to provide assistance when needed and support with

creating unforgettable guest experiences leading to a flexible working

environment.

Host with the Most :

Assisting in welcoming guests to the café and bar and

giving that first great impression setting the tone for their visit.

Provide Feedback to Managers :

Provide feedback to managers regarding any guest comments,

positive or negative, to enhance overall service quality.

Follow Allergy Procedures and Legislation Guidelines :

Always adhere to Bill's Allergy procedures and legislation

guidelines, ensuring the safety of guests with allergies and dietary

requirements.

Stay Informed of Company Updates :

Keep informed of all company and restaurant-specific

updates by attending meetings or utilizing other communication channels.

Ensure Cleanliness of Front-of-House Areas :

Diligently maintain cleanliness in all front-of-house areas

especially the bar, including regular checks on guest toilets, to present all

indoor and outdoor restaurant areas in the best possible way.

Learn and Demonstrate Correct Procedures and Safe

Working Practices :

Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and adherence

to correct procedures and operating systems. This includes staying informed

about Bill's specific protocols and incorporating safe working practices into

daily responsibilities.

Strictly follow ALL health and safety guidelines :

Actively put health and safety guidelines into practice,

demonstrating a strict commitment to prioritizing the well-being of oneself and

others in the restaurant. Ensure that safety measures are consistently applied

to create a secure environment for everyone, including guests.

Collaborate with the Restaurant Team for Workflow

Efficiency :

Work closely with the entire restaurant team to maintain a

smooth and efficient workflow. This involves effective communication and

cooperation to create a harmonious restaurant atmosphere.

Monitor Food and Drinks Timings and Specifications :

Closely monitor the timing and quality of food and

beverages, promptly notifying managers of any potential issues or concerns.

Completion of ALL training requirements :

Take

responsibility for completing all mandatory and job-specific training to

perform tasks safely and correctly. Engage proactively in continuous learning

to enhance job knowledge and contribute to a safe and efficient workplace.

Assist the management team with all Bar and Drinks training as needed.

Prioritise Guest Service :

Always prioritize guest service, following guest service

steps, and maintaining a positive attitude with a friendly smile.

E fficient Opening and Closing Duties :

Maintain efficiency by completing all opening and closing

duties for the restaurant meticulously. This ensures a smooth start and end to

with natural curiosity, always eager to understand and enhance processes,

whilst acquiring new skills and techniques, as well as displaying a genuine

care for the guests, fostering an innovative, guest-focused & dynamic bar

and restaurant atmosphere.
