Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our before, after school, and holiday clubs, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our pupils.,

  • Programme Management
  • Plan, organise, and implement a variety of activities for children aged 3-11.
  • Ensure activities are engaging, safe, and inclusive.
  • Manage the daily operation of the club, including staffing and resources.
  • Work within the Early Years Framework
  • Staff Supervision :
  • Recruit, train, and supervise club staff.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing support and professional development.
  • Ensure legal ratios are met and make arrangements to ensure adequate staff are available.
  • Line management and absence reporting
  • Health and Safety :
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all incidents are reported and addressed promptly.
  • Parental Engagement :
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
  • Handle any concerns or queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Administrative Duties :
  • Manage bookings, payments, and club finances.
  • Prepare regular reports for the school leadership team.

    Woodley Primary School is seeking a self-motivated and dedicated Before, After School & Holiday Club Manager to join our team., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children aged 5-11 in a similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding our children.
  • Desirable :
  • Previous experience in a managerial role.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • A current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
  • Food hygiene certificate

    Working Pattern : Monday to Friday 6 : 30am to 9am and 2 : 30pm to 6 : 30pm
  • Contract Type : Permanent, Full Year Salary Grade : Scale 5, points 12 to 17 - £26,421 to £28,770 FTE salary will be pro rata to the part time hours
