Full Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our before, after school, and holiday clubs, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our pupils.,
- Programme Management
- Plan, organise, and implement a variety of activities for children aged 3-11.
- Ensure activities are engaging, safe, and inclusive.
- Manage the daily operation of the club, including staffing and resources.
- Work within the Early Years Framework Staff Supervision :
- Recruit, train, and supervise club staff.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing support and professional development.
- Ensure legal ratios are met and make arrangements to ensure adequate staff are available.
- Line management and absence reporting Health and Safety :
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all incidents are reported and addressed promptly. Parental Engagement :
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
- Handle any concerns or queries in a professional and timely manner. Administrative Duties :
- Manage bookings, payments, and club finances.
- Prepare regular reports for the school leadership team.
Woodley Primary School is seeking a self-motivated and dedicated Before, After School & Holiday Club Manager to join our team., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. - Experience working with children aged 5-11 in a similar setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding our children. Desirable :
- Previous experience in a managerial role.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management.
- A current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Food hygiene certificate Personal Attributes :

Working Pattern : Monday to Friday 6 : 30am to 9am and 2 : 30pm to 6 : 30pm Contract Type : Permanent, Full Year Salary Grade : Scale 5, points 12 to 17 - £26,421 to £28,770 FTE salary will be pro rata to the part time hours
