Full Job Description

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term-time only (this is a part-time position. The full-time equivalent for this role is 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year) Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.15 am to 3.15 pm including a 30-minute unpaid break each day Salary: NJC Scale 4, point 7-11 (£25,584- £27,269, pro rata to hours / weeks worked). The Vacancy We are seeking to appoint a confident individual to fill the role of Behaviour Assistant. As Behaviour Assistant, you will oversee pupils who have been removed from lessons, support them to reflect and address their behaviour, administer behaviour records and encourage positive behaviour and relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an assertive individual who has a very good rapport with young people and is able to ensure that learning takes place in a calm, orderly and respectful environment. The College is an extremely positive and friendly place to work. Relationships between teaching and support staff are excellent, and senior staff offer strong support to their colleagues in the maintenance of good order. The successful candidate may also undertake shared responsibility for a mentor group as a co-mentor (form tutor).
