Full Job Description

We are a small, close-knit team driven by a shared commitment: to support one another and our partners in delivering funeral services and memorials within our grounds. Working at Easthampstead Park Cemetery and Crematoriumcan be deeply fulfilling, as it enables you to provide compassionate support to families during their most challengingtimes, offering them a sense of peace and closure.   • You will be responsible for entering information accurately and producing daily paperwork.
  • You will be taking and entering cremation or burial bookings on to the booking system from Funeral Directors.
  • You will be handling general office-based duties including answering the telephone and dealing with face-to-face enquiries. You will also be sending correspondence letters/emails to customers and stake holders.
  • You will support Funeral Directors (and their partners) to deliver chapel services, including service set up, checking and demonstrating AV / music system software and checking coffin foot plates.
  • You will process general office card, cheque, and cash transactions either face-to-face or over the phone and manage all receipts accordingly.
  • Interview date... Interviews will be held between the 22nd - 24th October 2024. Interviews will be conducted in person, providing candidates with the chance to personally meet the team and experience our work environment.     You will have a good telephone manner and proven administrative skills, delivering high-quality work with accuracy and attention to detail. In this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
