BI Developer - Clayton-le-Moors

The BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions. This role involves transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

• Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI to meet business requirements
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies and decisions.
• Optimise Power BI solutions for performance, ensuring quick load times and efficient data processing.
• Develop and maintain data models, integrate data from various sources, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Work closely with the BI Manager to deliver on set objectives and contribute to the continuous improvement of the business
  
  1+ / 2+ years experience in an analytical/developer focused role.
• Experience working with any of the following: Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, Looker.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Stakeholder Management.
• Experience with BI Best Practices (Preferable).
• Financial Services experience (Preferable).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and query performance tuning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and adapt quickly to project and priority changes.
• Highly responsive and adaptable team player.
