Full Job Description

The marketing team is spread across the Manchester, London and Oxford studios, and has experience spanning bid management, marketing communications and graphic design. We work flexibly to support the whole practice with bid submissions and raising the profile of the practice. Working closely with directors across the practice, the bid co-ordinator is responsible for the submission of bespoke bids. Responsibilities We are seeking a dynamic and motivated bid co-ordinator to work within our small bid team to achieve successful outcomes for each allocated tender. The ideal candidate will follow established processes and best practices, ensuring a coherent bid strategy in collaboration with the sector directors.,

  • Work within the bid team to contribute towards successful tender outcomes.
  • Develop and continually evaluate winning strategies, directing resources to enhance bid success.
  • Taking the lead on bids and proposals to ensure the best chance of winning work
  • Ensure resources for quality submissions are in place, and timescales are met.
  • Manage bids, ensuring that submissions are of a high and consistent standard.
  • Organise and oversee all necessary bid-related meetings throughout the tender process.
  • Oversee the tender program, ensuring adherence to company procedures.
  • Assign and drive completion of action items arising from meetings.
  • Maintain lines of communication with joint venture partners.
  • Manage and review the quality submission process.
  • Obtain and share tender feedback and lessons learned to the bid team.
  • Support the marketing manager with general comms and marketing tasks, including event planning and awards, updating Open Asset, and general marketing admin.
  • Organise and arrange project photo and video shoots with external photographers.

    Minimum 3 years of experience as a bid co-ordinator ideally within the construction industry.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse workload
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience of Adobe Creative Cloud and Open Asset desirable
  • Strong copywriting skills with good attention to detail
  • The role will be mainly studio-based with some flexibility for ad-hoc home working. The preferred locations for this national role are at our Oxford or Manchester studios but other locations will be considered. Occasional travel to other studios may be required (London, Birmingham, Oxford, Manchester and Edinburgh).
