Gerald Eve is experiencing a period of transformation and growth and, with investment from Newmark, plans to grow the EMEA business to £500m+ over the next three years. The Client & Market Development team has a pivotal role in delivering growth across the business. We work closely with Group, Sector and National heads to help them create and deliver effective BD & Marketing plans. The team focuses on the key areas of Winning Better Business, Client Targeting, Relationship Management and Cross Selling by bringing together teams to target new business, oversee and structure pitch and bid opportunities and manage client teams. This ensures we are investing in our long-term client relationships, securing new opportunities and are effectively managing an expansive Newmark referral network across EMEA, the US and the wider global business. About The Role Central to our growth plans is enhancing our work winning capabilities and ensuring we have the right resources to respond to pitch and bid opportunities. This role will support the Client & Market Development Team with the coordination of responses to pitch and bid opportunities while also being responsible for all tender portals Gerald Eve is registered with, ensuring opportunities are circulated to the relevant teams and clarifications and responses are submitted in a timely manner. Based in London, the role will assist teams across our national offices and, given its nature, the candidate should be prepared to work flexibly around working hours when necessary and in response to client deadlines. There will also be scope for the role to provide support to the wider Client & Market Development Team on initiatives around key client management, tracking and managing international referrals and opportunities through Newmark and general business development activities to support our growth ambitions., This role will support the Client & Market Development Team, working collaboratively with Partners across the firm, in coordinating the outputs of tender responses on behalf of Gerald Eve including:

  • Ensuring that all tender notifications / requests are monitored and responded to in a timely fashion
  • Ensuring that responses are of the highest quality and responded to in the most efficient way, on brand and in line with Gerald Eve standards
  • Prioritising outputs aligned to strategic business priorities and areas of focus
  • Engaging with key stakeholders within the business, adding value to tender responses, managing expectations and ensuring that processes are as streamlined as possible
  • Maintenance of Gerald Eve's presence on all relevant tender portals
  • Populating short responses to standard bid questions using standard material held within the WBB Portal
  • Logging all opportunities on our internal tracker system and so that management reports can be generated using our bespoke PowerBI dashboard
  • Liaising with other teams across Business Services to ensure standard response information is kept up to date and shared on the WBB Portal
  • Continuously evolving the outputs of the function, whether through content or processes to deliver the highest possible service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting the wider Client & Market Development Team on key integration projects with Newmark
