Full Job Description

  • Lead, manage and support the end-to-end proposal process in conjunction with the sales lead and with the other CHAMP stakeholders
  • - ensure adherence to bid timeline and governance - ensuring that all RFP/RFI process requirements are flagged and completed on-time (eg. NDA, bid-bonds, etc) - Management of tender submissions for RFI's and RFPs including updating and maintain the status in CRM. - Support sales where appropriate, with clients / prospects including researching the customer, current supplier, other relevant information. - Work together with Marketing, Product and Sales to develop the winning strategy. - Write, create and update the bid and engage within all CHAMP verticals - Improve internal network of stakeholders, act on feedback for each bid submission and build database to drive productivity. - Analyse performance of Won vs Lost tenders and report findings and improvement strategy to the leadership team. - Record and share lessons learnt / best practice after each bid. - Continuously seek ways to further improve CHAMPs bidding capability in terms of speed of responses, quality, and company positioning. - Compile a master question and answer data base and maintain with each new RFP.

  • Clear understanding of strategic proposal management processes, including qualification, pre-proposal planning, strategy development and storyboarding

  • Fast and accurate document preparation skills
  • A flexible attitude to work, including enthusiasm for working in an intensive, deadline-driven, and high-profile role. During peaks, this role may require occasional working evenings and weekends to meet deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the team, colleagues, and stakeholders in a professional, consistent manner
  • Ability to exercise judgment to solve tactical problems where the answer is not apparent
  • Experience translating business/brand strategy to content communications
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant subject
  • Education and Experience:
  • Ideally APMP Practitioner Level certification or APMP Foundation
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant subject
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office programs essential
  • At least 1 year Air Cargo experience
  • Must have a high standard of written and spoken English
  • The selected candidate may be subject to the provision of an up-to-date (not older than 3 months) criminal record certificate.
