Full Job Description

  • Managing the full bid lifecycle for tenders ranging from £100k to £500m, ensuring successful, high-quality submissions.
  • Creating compelling tender documentation that is consistent, accurate, and minimizes company risks, while integrating lessons learned.
  • Leading internal bid deliverables and securing approvals, ensuring timely progress across all stages.
  • Effectively managing business resources and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels to keep bids on track.
  • Acting as the primary client contact, negotiating technical, financial, and commercial aspects of bids pre- and post-submission.
  • Facilitating smooth handovers from the tender team to the delivery phase, ensuring scope stability and project alignment.
  • Your success will be grounded by
  • Your win rate and quality of tender documentation in a similar role and large matrix organisation.
  • Your extensive bid management experience with significantly high-level budgets
  • An understanding of Railway technology projects

    Experience in leadership and management proven through the success of the teams you have worked with.
  • A strong focus on customer engagement and relationship and the ability to negotiate in complex situations.
  • Degree level qualifications and expert level MS package knowledge.
