Full Job Description

NG Bailey have an exciting opportunity for a Bid and Proposals Writer to join our proposals team based in Leeds. This position you will report into the Proposals Manager and support the team across our engineering division delivering professional, impactful written content to produce exemplar proposals and bids for large Mechanical and Electrical projects across the UK.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of employment, working in a trusting relationship with the Proposals Manager and the entire team with professionalism.

  • Complete pre-qualification questionnaires, invitations to tender and other requests for information.

  • Maintain a library of information for future use and ensure knowledge is up to date and accurate in all responses. Review information received with the bid to determine a list of tender deliverables.

  • Work closely with bid managers/bid teams across Engineering ensuring all proposal documentation is of the highest quality, capturing all the key messages and showcase the businesses offering.

  • Contribute to the development of customer-focused executive summary documents., We'll do our best to outline the recruitment process to you ahead of time with plenty of notice.     If you have business experience in writing Bids or Proposals and either business reports or creative writing we would like to hear from you. We are also looking for the following:

  • Strong command of the English language, grammar and sentence structure.

  • Ability to create, edit and proofread written content etc.

  • MS Office and 365 experience including a working knowledge of SharePoint.

  • Previous experience working in engineering or construction would be highly desirable.
