The successful applicant will have a proven track record of working on document creation, content and management. As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in our bid team, working to produce compliant and compelling proposals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and build a career in bid writing within a supportive and collaborative environment. Bid Writer Key Duties

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of high-quality bid documents
  • Research and gather information relevant to bids and proposals
  • Collaborate with various departments and partners to ensure accurate and persuasive content
  • Maintain and update bid documentation and templates
  • Ensure compliance with all bid requirements and guidelines
  • Support the Sales Team in developing strategies to improve success rates
  • Proofread and edit bid content for clarity, grammar and impact

    Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a virtual team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word
  • Strong research skills and ability to gather relevant information
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Degree in English or related field, or GCSE/A Level qualifications in relevant subjects
