Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bidding and Tendering Specialist with a proven track record in securing contracts within the domiciliary care and supported living sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of bids and tenders, from identifying opportunities to submitting proposals, with a focus on winning contracts in the South Wales region.,

  • Bid Management: Lead the preparation, development, and submission of high-quality bids and tenders specifically related to domiciliary care and supported living services.
  • Tender Process: Manage the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring all submissions meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Sector Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the domiciliary care and supported living sectors to create compelling proposals that meet the needs of local authorities and other commissioning bodies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including care management, finance, and compliance, to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy of bids.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement bid strategies that increase the likelihood of winning tenders in a highly competitive environment.
  • Documentation: Create, review, and refine bid documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential tender opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities in the South Wales region.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with local authorities and commissioning bodies to clarify requirements, address queries, and negotiate terms where necessary.
  • Post-Bid Follow-up: Manage post-submission activities, including follow-up with clients and providing feedback to internal teams to improve future bids.

    Proven experience in bidding and tendering within the domiciliary care and supported living sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the tendering process, contract law, and the specific requirements of the care sector in South Wales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and compliant proposals.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with bid management software is a plus.
  • A degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
