Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced bid professional to join our team. You will already be experienced in delivering all parts of a bid response but now you will be keen to own and drive the bid process from end to end. You will be guided by an experienced Pursuit Opportunity Conversion Lead (POCL) and will be supported day-to-day by our bids advisers. In this challenging and rewarding role you'll also:

  • Qualify opportunities: Operate the global 'Go/No-go process' - in consultation with key GC&R stakeholders). Communicate recommendations to local teams regarding outcome of Go/No-go process
  • Own and lead the pursuit or bid process from end-to-end - Design and build the project plan to ensure the correct process and approach is taken. Set up calls and meetings, keep track of work packages and milestones and drive the proposal teams in the creation and delivery of the proposal content to agreed timescales.
  • Ensure the correct skill sets are leveraged to deliver maximum value and efficiency into the bid process. Provide clarity on roles, deliverables and deadlines
  • Advise partners and other senior stakeholders on pursuit or bid process based on agreed firmwide best practice (and with support from the POCL)
  • Drive delivery against the agreed project plan ensuring RFP requirements are met

    Proven experience of working in a bids and pursuits team (ideally from a professional services business)
  • A strong motivation to 'win'
  • People management skills and experience
  • A good understanding and experience of delivering of, the 'end-to end bid process'
  • The ability to converse comfortably with senior stakeholders
  • Confidence to ask insightful questions to both understand and challenge thinking
  • Strong project management
  • The ability to apply relevant skills to new scenarios
  • A degree/ relevant professional qualification is desired (but not essential)
