As the Billing and Revenue Assurance Manager you'll is responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely billing across all Region 4 sites, and across all payors: NHS, Self-Pay and PMI. This role will work closely with both PMI teams and the Hospital Senior Revenue Manager to ensure that the process for tariff changes and billing is as seamless as possible, cutting through complexity to deliver a best in class solution. You will: Lead a centre of excellence for revenue assurance and billing implementing one best way across billing for
all payors, and ensuring that tariff upgrades are made with minimal disruption to the overall billing process and ultimately cash collection. Own relationship in Region 4 with the PMI team ensuring that Nuffield Health wide changes are implemented seamlessly across Region 4, and aligned to the overall Nuffield Health strategy. Lead the project to reduce and standardise procedure codes within R4 and aligned to wider Nuffield Healthsites. Lead other project work to improve cash collections - including but not limited to billing and collections for consultants and token capture for self pay patients Monitor levels of unbilled across Region 4 and target reductions to be in class levels Build relationships across Nuffield Health with the PMI Team, Credit Control R4, NHS Hospital Revenue Team, Pricing Team and the Management Accounts Team Partner with the Service Management Team to map all processes as is and to be; detailing the controls in place Act as the Subject Matter Expert for
all revenue assurance and billing processes for Region 4. Drive an agile culture, and act as a leader through change, supporting the whole team through the change process.
