Full Job Description

  • Provide a supporting role to upskill BIM knowledge to internal colleagues and external consultants / subcontractors as desired.
  • Developing and cross-checking model information against the Employer Information Requirements (EIR), including clash detection and validation of non-graphical information.
  • Development and maintenance of the Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Strategy
  • Assist Project Engineering Manager in ensuring CAE assurance/compliance with project and client requirements
  • Direct, monitor and participate in new developments and enhancements in support of Project and Client requirements
  • Helping the project utilise the data that it creates; maximising the use of dashboards to get information into the hands of the project
  • Develop and maintain information management performance targets (KPI's, Metrics)
  • BIM & Computer Aided Design experience working in both 2D and 3D

    Experience of relevant software such as Revit, Inventor, Aveva E3D and Navisworks.
  • Demonstrable experience of operating in a BIM Level 2 compliant environment.
  • A clear understanding of BIM and its benefits to the construction industry
  • Experience gained in a large-scale mission critical environment, ideally in a nuclear environment within either a consultancy or end client
  • Familiarity and experience of Civil, Structural and Architectural build requirements
