You will be joining Estates and Campus Services at an exciting time as we continue the implementation of our £250M Estate Masterplan over the next ten years. We have ambitious strategies and high environmental aspirations. Our award-winning new Sports Facility has been completed and is the first of a number of exciting projects to be delivered through the Estates Masterplan.

As part of this investment we plan to grow our Estates and Campus Services Projects Team and are seeking an individual with the relevant expertise to contribute to the delivery of the Masterplan.

To perform this role effectively, you will have extensive experience at a senior level as a BIM Information Specialist working in the construction sector or asset management business. You will have experience defining and documenting project information strategies to ISO19650 / PAS1192, developing information requirements, developing Project execution plans and the overall management of the projects Common Data Environment and Model information Data. We are looking for a skilled building Information communicator to join our team.

Strong leadership is a critical element of this role, as is the ability to prioritise and manage a workload, analyse complex information, present recommendations and make effective decisions.

Post Holders must provide clear direction and focus, visibly championing the changes which deliver greater efficiencies.

The Senior Leadership Team expects all leaders with the team to operate in a culture of openness and honesty, demonstrating a commitment to change through involvement and empowerment, and by delivering results.

The post holder will support the Deputy Director of Capital Projects and Property in their work linking the Estates Directorate and other parts of the University in providing excellent facilities and buildings in support of the wider University objectives.

In addition, the role will be key in supporting the space management function in co-ordinating space with the Space Management Group, the FM operations team, and CAFM system input to ensure that Project Managers manage all building, equipment, and plant requests.
