HMRC are looking for an experienced BIM Model Manager to be one of the first to join our newly expanding team. As the BIM Model Manager, you’ll have overall technical responsibility for HMRC’s Regional Centre BIM Models. We need you to bring a high level of Revit and Autodesk software skills to ensure the technical integrity of HMRC’s Regional Centre Digital Estate.
Reporting to our Head of BIM, this role requires a high level understanding of BIM delivery, alongside experience of using the tools and software required to exchange information between various project stakeholders.
HMRC’s BIM team is currently growing, and as such our BIM Manager will soon have line management responsibility for one colleague, ensuring the extraction of information from the BIM models lands with the relevant projects and teams. We have BIM models across our new Regional Centres, and there is an opportunity to develop a critical element towards HMRC’s Digital estate vision as we grow to include out other HMRC sites.

+ Ensuring building asset lists and building floorplans remain current and up to date.
+ Carrying out model audits on a regular basis.
+ Model synchronisation from local file to central files are completed after building changes have taken place.
+ Ensure naming conventions are correct.
+ Create and Export schedules.
+ Feed into larger Taxonomies.
+ Be able to think outside of the box and find solutions to problems using Revit and other Autodesk software.
Working with HMRC service providers and other internal members of staff this role will be required to create and implement new workflows taking advantage HMRC's BIM models and the information they hold., We'll assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:

+ We will assess your Technical abilities by asking a technical question. Further details of this will be sent to candidates prior to interview., An initial sift will be carried out against the CV, then a further sift against CV and Personal Statement, with the successful candidates being invited to interview.

During the panel interview you will be asked questions based on Behaviours to explore in detail what you are capable of.

+ Experienced using Auto-desk Revit and Auto-desk AutoCAD.
+ Knowledge or experience of using Dynamo and Naviswork.
+ A good understanding of ISO19650 principles
+ Previous use of Viewpoint / CDE or similar.
