Full Job Description

Our Bioresources team have an opportunity to join our team as a Bioresources Compliance Technician. Our purpose in Bioresources is to create value for our customers by delivering the lowest cost to treat sewage sludge. This role is responsible for developing a sustainable compliance management system in Bioresources covering H&SEnvironmental, and Quality system adherence. Within this role it will be essential that you ensure that we utilise a management system that assists all Team managers to deliver the operational performance expected by our internal auditors and external regulators. The key accountabilities:

  • Creating a central document management system to clarify best practice and create an easy to access resource for our ops teams.
  • Producing and maintaining our emergency response procedures.
  • Ensuring all Bioresources areas are compliant against H&S standards.
  • Management systems documentation control.
  • Assuring Bioresources end of year waste returns.

  • Apart from being a great fit for the team you'll ideally have experience working with contractors to deliver high quality projects on operational sites as well as experience of managing a range of stakeholders. You'll also have technical understanding of bioresources assets as well as an understanding of STW permits and management system regulatory requirements. Strong and proven planning and organizational skills are necessary to ensure that work is delivered on time, and to the right quality, against internal project/programme milestones. You'll have excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and have a passion for health and safety.
