Biomedical Scientist - Haematology - ( 7 Month Fixed Term)

An opening has arisen for a fixed term biomedical scientist within Haematology at the Halo building.
The position is scheduled for 28 Weeks (7 months) and the, To help in the smooth and efficient running of a section within the Department of Haematology to ensure safe, rapid, timely and accurate reporting of results.
Investigation and analysis of samples by the application of techniques and testing in the following sections: Routine Haematology and Coagulation, Flow Cytometry, Haemoglobinopathy and any other falling under Haematology.
The post holder will be required to work within any section of the department is will be required to adhere to flexible working arrangements according to department needs, as directed by management.
This may include working outside of core working hours, including weekends.
HCPC registration is essential and experience of blood film morphology would be useful.
Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls in to the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)
