Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit Biomedical Scientists to support the Virology & Molecular Pathology (VAMP) service. The department provides both viral serology and multidisciplinary molecular services., We are looking to recruit Biomedical Scientists to support the Virology & Molecular Pathology (VAMP) service. The department provides both viral serology and multidisciplinary molecular services.

Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Service (CWPS) is an established network, currently in the process of developing a blood sciences 'hub and spoke' model of care. VAMP is part of this transformation and as such, staff will need to rotate across sites and be required to participate in the 24/7 shift service. Specialist molecular testing will primarily be located at UHCW; whilst routine serology will be based on the hub site at George Eliot Hospital.
