Full Job Description

Due to the phenomenal launch of birthday parties at the YMCA Activity & Community Village, we're looking for new Birthday Party
Hosts to join our team.

If you have delivered any form of sports, dance or arts and craft style classes for children before and you can bring the energy
and excitement to engage a group of children and host a super fun birthday party, join our team!

This is the perfect role to fit around your studies, earn some extra money or fit around your availability with other commitments.
Birthday parties will almost exclusively be at the weekends, all year round.

As a Birthday Party host, we expect you to be full of energy, be warm and welcoming but also keep the party in control and running
to time. We want to make sure both the children and the parents have the very best experience.

You will be responsible for leading the children's birthday party; you will welcome the guests, lead the activity, assist with
hospitality and hosting, support with clearing up and resetting for the next party!

You will be the primary point of contact on the day, including greeting guests on arrival and liaising with guests throughout
their visit to ensure that their experience is a positive one, including the delivery of the children's party

You will lead a fun, structured party consisting of an activity, food and party games according to the birthday child/parent's
wishes. You will work with the YMCA Party Coordinator to enable you to plan and deliver the optimum event each time. Naturally,
you will represent and promote YMCA Robin Hood Group positively at all times including attendance at internal and external
meetings.

You will ensure the health and safety of the children and visitors to the Village and also ensure the children are safeguarded at
all times.

You will need to be available to work during the weekends predominately between 10am and 6pm.
