Full Job Description

Brent is a diverse borough, ever working to be inclusive. We at Via are excited to be part of this diverse community, and we are excited to welcome a new member of our community. Via in Brent would like to welcome applicants from the BME community to work within our outreach team.

As the BME Community Outreach Practitioner you will work with individuals, communities, and organisations to reduce the harm associated with substance use amongst the BME community. The aim is to better understand the issues that people face, identifying and addressing barriers in accessing substance misuse services.

You will raise awareness of related harm, promote community and user involvement in this process and work with partners to improve access to support services, including treatment and recovery for those whose lives have been adversely affected.
