Full Job Description

The BMS Prime Project Manager role will be responsible for all aspects project delivery within The South of England, from undertaking sales to operations handovers, supply chain engagement, engineering management right through to project handover and post completion support. This is a varied role, that will offer a different working day one to the next, and will work alongside the customer, account management and project engineering teams. The primary location will be London, however there will be projects throughout the South of England that may require traveling to manage.,

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors
  • Undertake a sales handover to interpret and understand the scope of works
  • Overall responsibility for the health, safety and environmental management of all projects within your portfolio
  • Provide direction, control and implementation of projects
  • Be responsible for the commercial performance of the project
  • Manage Subcontractors, and issue Purchase Orders for project works
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the business, and manage resources
  • Order all material for projects in a timely manner
  • Monitor, review and report on the progress
  • Provide regular reports to project leadership
  • Undertake risk reviews
  • Maintains relevant professional certifications and licenses
  • Mentor and Develop junior members of the team

    Min. 3 Year's project management experience in the construction industry, with experience in BMS and control systems, or direct experience with BMS project operations of equal or greater tenure.
  • Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word & Project
  • Experience working on large projects, with a track record for delivery. Typical projects will be £80k-£300k in value
  • Comfortable working as part of a team, managing remote resource
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Preferred:
  • Experience working within existing customer sites
  • High Level BMS knowledge with key understanding of engineering principals
