Board Chair

Salary: Voluntary (unpaid). Reasonable travel expenses provided. Commitment: Attendence of 4 board meetings a year (attended in-person). Digital provisions can be provided for those with access needs. Location: Hybrid (with in-person meetings taking place in Birmingham City Centre) Open Theatre is looking for a committed individual, who is passionate about our work and making change for young people with learning disabilities to be the next Chair of our Board. As our current Chair steps down, we are looking for a new Chair to lead the board and advise Open Theatre as we look to build on our exceptional growth achieved in the last few years. The Chair is expected to attend a range of Open Theatre's performances, programmes, and fundraising events. The position will be a three-year term, with the option to extend for a further three years on agreement of the Board.
