Full Job Description

In this role, you will be providing support for the booking processes of all follow-up outpatient appointments ensuring they meet the guidelines connected to Partial Booking and Full Booking for specialties within Medicine. You will be assisting with booking, ensuring all slots are fully utilised and effective slot management processes are followed. You will also be collecting and recording data accurately and meet objectives set out by the Administration Manager, ensuring patients meet their 18 week pathway and being responsible for adding patients to the Outpatient Waiting lists. To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH's 'PRIDE' values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence.

We are looking for a Booking Administration Clerk to become a member of a truly collaborative and hardworking team who provide administrative support with the Cardiology Department This will include booking/cancelling patients for various tests required, utilising the treatment areas and nursing resources efficiently. The post holder will work as part of a team providing waiting list management for the Medical Directorate. This role relies on close working relationships between Consultants, Secretaries, Ward Staff and patients.
