Shropshire Council's Passenger Transport Group is looking to appoint two permanentDemand Responsive Transport (DRT) Booking Agent's to register telephone bookingsfor customers looking to access our Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) service,taking telephone calls and responding to enquiries regarding the service.The service launched in December 2023 and continues to grow, we are looking forexperienced call handlers to assist the day-to-day operations of running our demandresponsive transport service. Providing good customer service skills and ensuringcustomers can book and travel on the service. There will also be additional reliefduties working in the dispatch office with drivers as and when required.
We are looking for someone who can deliver outstanding customer service, who ispolite, friendly, helpful and supportive to all passengers and members of the public.You must have experience of call handling and taking customer bookings over thetelephone as well as over email. The role is 20 hours a week on a rota basis. Theservice operates Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
