Full Job Description

Ensure complex administration and support, meets all of the Hospital's required standards and timescales.
Manage, appraise, and interpret data, information and /or situations.
Handle all enquiries, booking appointments and queries raised.
Ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and presented accurately and efficiently, using the appropriate electronic or manual system and format.
Prepare standard and adhoc reports as requested and required by the department
Provide professional patient and consultant liaisons, and be confident in doing so in person, by telephone and via email
Manage Appointment bookings and change amendments
Create, alter or cancel clinics and theatre lists as required to support business needs
Be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a larger team

Previous experience working in a fast paced customer service environment
Demonstrable the ability to prioritise and organise a workload of changing priorities in a constantly changing environment
An excellent telephone manner
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong computer skills, including working with databases
The ability to pay excellent attention to detail, to include producing patient correspondence and appointment confirmations
A good understanding of the importance of policies and operating procedures
