Full Job Description

We are looking for a Bookkeeping Manager to join our Accountancy Practice in Milton Keynes The successful applicant will typically be required to work 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday with a mix of hybrid working. You will be responsible for:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing of bills and expenses
  • Support VAT preparation
  • Support Year End Acccounts preparation
  • Daily communications with clients
  • Dealing with any other client requests
  • Reviewing work for the team
  • Managing a varied portfolio of clients
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Helping to develop/train the junior members of the team

    Strong VAT knowledge
  • Previous experience in practice
  • Knowledge of Xero, Sage, Quickbooks.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Love dealing with clients
  • Has the ability to think outside the box when it comes to client challenges
  • Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, Bookkeeping: 3+ years (required), Bookkeeping in practice: 3 years (required)
