About the role

The Internal Communications Business Partner is responsible for developing and delivering strategic internal communication initiatives for the GBU to effectively convey information to colleagues and stakeholders. They play a pivotal role in ensuring colleagues are informed, aligned, and engaged with the vision, strategic objectives, goals and sub-culture of the GBU through cohesive messaging, channel activation and branding.

Reporting Relationships

  • In this role you will solid line report to the Adecco Group SVP, Global Head of Internal Communications as part of the Global Internal Communications Center of Expertise (CoE)

  • You will dotted line report and directly partner with the GBU SVP, Global Head of Communications on a daily basis to support the needs of the GBU.

  • The role does not have any direct reports, but will partner closely with experts from across our CoEs to deliver on key initiatives.

  • Key stakeholders include the GBU senior leadership team, Adecco Group External and Content CoE teams, plus GBU Human Resources, Product Development, IT global, and marketing teams, among others.

    What you'll be doing

    Core Responsibilities

    As an expert internal communications partner, you will work within the Global Internal Communications CoE, partnering directly with the GBU Global Head of Communications to lead on all aspects of internal communication for the GBU, including:
  • Providing expert advice and counsel to the GBU leadership team to best deliver key GBU communications' initiatives.

  • Developing and implementing global internal communication strategies and plans

  • Managing and developing GBU Internal Communication Channels.

  • Owning and delivering strategic internal communication initiatives and projects for the GBU.

  • Delivering aligned, cohesive content, messaging and branding for internal audiences within the GBU.

  • Measuring, evaluating and sharing insights on Internal Communications effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

  • Contributing to the Global IC CoE in setting standards, best practice and achievement of shared goals.

Your skill set includes the ability to bridge gaps between various departments, geographies, and levels, ensuring alignment, clarity, and cohesion in all messaging.

    Experienced Change Management Communicator: Demonstrated proficiency in guiding and managing organisational change through strategic communication. You understand the nuances and challenges of change management and possess a record of accomplishment of creating and executing communication strategies that support smooth transitions, reduce resistance, and foster a positive acceptance of change across varying levels of an organisation.

    Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work seamlessly with senior leadership, HR teams, and stakeholders across the globe.

    Innovative: A penchant for thinking creatively and staying updated on the latest communication technologies and trends.

    Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of diverse work cultures and ability to craft messages that resonate across borders and life experiences.

    About Your Experience
  • University degree in Communication, Journalism, Politics, PR or similar.

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in internal or corporate communications and experience in a communication leadership role within an international corporate environment.

  • Demonstrated experience creating and delivering internal communication strategies within a complex and international business environment.

  • Experience in corporate transformation and change management.

  • Strong digital skillset with experience in Intranet and Communications Platform Projects

  • Experience working with C-Suite leaders.

  • Languages: English. A secondary language (French, German, Spanish etc) is a plus.
