Bradbury Café Cook

The Bradbury Café is a community-based hub based within YMCA Humber on Freeman Street in Grimsby. As our catering provision continues to grow, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Cook who can provide a welcoming and exceptional catering service to our residents, staff, and the local community.

Our Cooks are responsible for planning an interesting and varied menu which focuses upon the provision of a balanced and healthy diet for our customers. With in-depth working knowledge of various cooking techniques, and food safety and hygiene protocols you will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a strong team work ethic.

In addition to the provision of a substantial daily breakfast and lunchtime menu you will have the skills and ability to prepare pre booked buffets and hot meals for external business users.

During day-to-day service you will be expected to order locally sourced and fresh groceries, supervise the overall running of the kitchen area, and work flexibly to meet the needs of a busy food service.

As the ideal candidate you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a catering setting, the ability to work under pressure and adaptability to work when required at our additional café site in the Grimsby Area.
