Full Job Description

  • Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring their needs are met and their welfare is safeguarded.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans to support childrens needs and future planning.

  • Work closely with children, families, and carers to ensure the best outcomes, promoting stability and security for children in care.

  • Attend court hearings, provide reports, and give evidence to support care proceedings when necessary.

  • Collaborate with multi-agency professionals to deliver coordinated services to children and families.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.

    Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children in Care (CIC) Team., A recognized social work qualification and current registration with Social Work England.

  • Experience working with children in care or within a similar setting.

  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex caseloads.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and professionals.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

    Pay Rate: £35 per hour (umbrella), depending on experience.
