Full Job Description

  • Oversee the quality and assurance of social care services within the Performance, Commissioning & Partnership department.

  • Conduct audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of services, ensuring they meet statutory requirements and best practice standards.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations for service improvements, supporting teams to deliver high-quality care.

  • Work closely with social workers and management to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.

  • Lead on the development and implementation of quality assurance frameworks, tools, and processes.

  • Ensure all reporting and documentation is completed to a high standard, meeting the regulatory and legislative requirements.

  • Promote a culture of reflective practice and continuous learning across teams.

    Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England.

  • Proven experience in quality assurance or audit roles within childrens services.

  • In-depth knowledge of social care legislation, standards, and best practices.

  • Excellent analytical and report-writing skills, with the ability to provide clear recommendations for improvement.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with staff across different levels.

  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with teams and stakeholders.

    Pay Rate: £43.57 per hour (umbrella), depending on experience.

  • A key role within the Performance, Commissioning & Partnership department, driving quality improvement.
