Brain Injury Rehabilitation Assistant

This role involves providing high-quality care and support to an adult female client with a brain injury, ensuring her comfort, safety, and well-being. The Healthcare Professional will participate in goal-directed rehabilitation interventions and assist the client with executive functions, organization, planning, and communication needs., The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Assistant will support the client in functional daily living activities, help with organization and planning, and assist with both spoken and written communication. They will need to provide thinking supports, including helping the client link information together to make decisions and solve problems. The role is part of a multi-disciplinary team approach to the client's ongoing physical, cognitive, and linguistic processing difficulties.
