Full Job Description

Reporting to the Export Sales Centre Operations Manager, you will have responsibility of the Brazil Painted Body Packing Operations / Facilities and 3PL within the ESC Global Pack-shop based at DC4 Packshop, Prologis, Minworth. Main lead for Ops strat volume of Brazil painted bodies ensuring that the weekly volume is packed and containerised each week in-line with Ops strat. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Brazil Body Packing Operations:

  • Painted Body Supply
  • Liaison between DC4 3PL and HWD Vehicle scheduling Ensure Inbound transport collections in place Ensure dock slots available in DC4 Ensure storage capacity within DC4 is sufficient
  • Process line running
  • Define material needs for body protection and securing Maintain/fix or pull in wider maintenance team when needed Determine/design/engineer/implement changes due to of MY, New body line or kaizens etc including any tooling and transport trollies and Skids Liaising with systems, transport or MHE provider if needed due to above.
  • Kartainer Racks
  • Rack pool determination and control (Opstrat data file) Modifications and new designs engineering at MY/New body line change etc including changes to body securing. Manage Repairs Supply liaising Point of contact for TD and Brazil teams
  • Systems
  • CMMS3 shipper creation process running and functions at any change points SAP Body pack super user Fix errors i.e. incorrect container ref entered Liaise with I.T. BAU teams when we have a load failure i.e. no OBD for body scanned. Idoc failure CMMS3, JV Bridge, SAP etc Printer Failures i.e., CMMS3 print failure set up or updates causing errors with CMMS3 'WT' ref for printing shippers automatically.

  • ERP Systems knowledge and experience
  • IT and Business Process knowledge - Compliance with standard policies and procedures.
  • Highly competent with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
