Full Job Description

Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.

  • Mise en place/food and beverage preparation.

  • Assist with receiving and storage of goods.

  • Maintain good food safety, hygiene standards, and practices.

  • Assists with preparations for food and beverage functions and service.

  • Assists with cellar operations

  • Assists with the preparation of a food and beverage outlet for service including :

    • o Cleaning of equipment
    o Cleaning and maintaining glassware
    o Preparation of waiter service stations
    o Preparation of Tables
    ? Assists with mini bar duties including :
    o Filling, checking and re-stocking mini bar trolleys
    o Recording of replacement stock
    o Billing procedures of items consumed in line with hotel policy
    o Ordering and storage of mini-bar items
    ? Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships.
    ? Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled.
    People
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues

  • Attend training when required
