Full Job Description
- Oversee the seamless preparation and service of breakfast, ensuring high-quality cooking, presentation, and consistency across a wide variety of breakfast items, including hot and cold options.
- Assist in planning and developing breakfast menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients, guest preferences, and dietary requirements while staying current with trends to elevate the breakfast experience.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient stocking, minimizing waste, and controlling food costs in line with hotel budget and sustainability goals.
- Enforce strict hygiene and sanitation standards, overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and use of kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness regulations.
- Foster collaboration within the breakfast team, mentoring colleagues and maximizing engagement through multi-tasking, flexible scheduling, and coaching to ensure smooth morning operations and service excellence.
- Collaborate with the wider team to deliver an exceptional breakfast experience, optimizing productivity while meeting guest expectations for quality and timely service.
You possess proven experience working the Breakfast shifts in a luxury hotel environment. You will have strong culinary skills, with a deep understanding of breakfast cuisine and various cooking techniques. Flexibility for the role is required as shifts will start as early as 4 am.
