Full Job Description

We are seeking self-motivating, dynamic individuals to join the well- established Breast Care team.

As a Breast Care Nurse you will work closely with the Breast Care Nurse Specialists and Breast Care Nurses who are currently in post.

The Breast Unit incorporates Breast Screening Services and Breast Outpatient Symptomatic clinics at Peterborough City Hospital and Breast Outpatient Symptomatic clinics at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

It is a busy service that works very closely with the Cancer Service., You will need to be hard working, flexible and dedicated to supporting Breast patients and their families at a difficult time in their lives. The work is varied and challenging but also very rewarding.

This post whilst predominately based at Peterborough may require some cross cover at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

Ideally, you would have 3 years post registration experience with at least 2 years within Breast Care, Oncology or in a Surgical setting. You must have excellent communication skills and diplomacy skills. You should hold a recognised teaching qualification.
