Full Job Description
The post holder will be required to work closely with other members of the breast screening & symptomatic service and multidisciplinary team to provide a high quality, customer responsive confidential service. The post holder will be responsible for the administrative and clerical service for Wirral & Chester NHSBSP.
To liaise closely with the Deputy Office Managers at Wirral & Chester to monitor performance of the joint programme with particular reference to meeting the targets set by NHSBSP guidelines.
Overall Manager to Breast Screening office staff to ensure the smooth running of the Breast Screening Service for Wirral & Chester NHSBSP
Plan and maintain the 3 year-round plan for the Wirral & Chester Breast Screening Service and take action if necessary to make sure this remains on schedule, Ensure operation of an efficient and effective administrative service to ensure national standards and targets are met.
Responsible for the co-ordination of the High-Risk Database, including liaising with Family History Clinics, Genetics Service and other Screening Units, ensuring all eligible women are invited for High-Risk Screening.
Responsible for the overall management of the Admin & Clerical Breast Screening Service at Wirral and Chester.
Responsible for all aspects of the call and recall programme for Wirral & Chester NHSBSP, ensuring all eligible residents are invited for Breast Screening at the appropriate time, and ensure failsafe procedures are carried out for women who have moved into the area.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing a DBS application is met by the successful applicant/s. DBS costs are recovered via salary deduction following starting in post.

The amount would vary depending on the level required: Standard Disclosure £18+£6.50 or Enhanced Disclosure £38+£6.50 (please be aware the additional sum is an administration fee and may increase due to inflation). This will be deducted from your salary, in manageable monthly instalments for up to 3 months following commencement of employment.
