Full Job Description

Do you have a keen interest in and passion for supporting families to feed their baby their way, supporting families in their breastfeeding journey from the antenatal period and postnatally, at home and in groups?, As part of the team, you will be supporting women and their families with their breastfeeding journey, promoting, and supporting breast feeding through telephone contacts, home visits and breastfeeding groups. You will support them from before the baby is born through the first few days and weeks after the baby is born, then in our breastfeeding groups.

Nottingham CityCare Partnership Childrens Public Health 0-19 Nursing Service are looking for Breastfeeding Peer Support Workers to work across Nottingham City.

We are looking for people, who have personal experience of breastfeeding, to join our teams of Health Visitors, School Nurses, Family Nurses and support staff working in a think family way, working together to support families to feed their baby their way while enjoying healthier lifestyles.

We serve a very diverse population, it would be beneficial if you speak another language.

We have both full and part time positions available, your preference will be discussed at interview.
