Full Job Description

The Buckinghamshire Recovery College are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to be responsiblefor the smooth operation and day to day running of the Buckinghamshire Recovery College. This post will work closely with the Recovery College Lead to ensure that the Bucks Recovery College meets the needs of the local community of Buckinghamshire. This post includes the development and delivery of co-produced educational workshops and courses for students, staff, relatives, Carers and the Public. This is in addition to working closely with the lived experienced tutors, develop new courses and take responsibility to devise a co-produced timetable and evaluate the courses delivered on a regular basis.Main duties of the job Work closely with the Lead to ensure the smooth operation of the Recovery College. Liaise with lived experience Tutors and professional tutors to devise a timetable for the college whilst adhering to all principals of co-production. Support the Lead in the development of the college as it moves to sit within the Primary care mental health hubs (PCMHH) and straddles both primary and secondary care services and offers a wider remit. Review and evaluate the college to ensure it is meeting the needs of the local community and to make improvements where possible. Work closely with the Lead to ensure all aspects of the service delivery are underpinned by the principles of co-production and personal recovery. With the support of the of the Lead, ensure that access to the college is continually reviewed and improved. The post holder will carry out 1:1 meetings as appropriate with students to discuss goals, complete individual learning plans and identify any potential barriers to attending the college. Co-produce and co-facilitate high quality recovery focused courses that are informative, inclusive, and culturally sensitive. Build strong links and relationships with the VCSE and local community organisations and services. Take responsibility to identify resources for the college and work closely with the College administrator to ensure courses have appropriate resources required.
