Gleeson Homes are recruiting for anApprentice Build Administratorto assist the Build Administrator in providing effective and proactive administrative support to the Construction Director and wider Construction and site-based teams, contributing to the effective use of Coins and other control and reporting mechanisms and requirements to enabling them to deliver build programmes in accordance with Build Programmes and Quality, Build, H&S, and Customer Care standards. We're looking for someone who is passionate about working with colleagues within the region and across different disciplines with a keen attention to detail and accuracy, who passionate about effective communication and administration.The suitable person will be someone who wants to proactively contribute to our mission of changing lives, by building affordable, quality homes, where they are needed, for the people who need them the most. Our regional teams are structured with a Construction Director, Site Teams and the Build Administrator. You will work in tandem with the site teams and the offices, delivering the build program safely, and on time. This role enables you to develop a wide range of administrative and professional skills, whilst embedding them in a real working environment. It will provide you with the toolkit for success in your career. With a wealth of knowledge, and limitless opportunities, Gleeson Homes is truly, right where you belong Main Responsibilities: In a nutshell you are the key link between the site teams, subcontractors, and central operations.Its a varied role, perfect for people who like to be busy.,

  • Assisting the Construction team in preparation of the site set ups for new developments
  • Ensuring the new site has all the relevant Construction, Safety, HR and Environmental paperwork.
  • Providing accurate reports from COINS, and the site teams to assist the Construction Director forecast and monitor site progress.
  • Lead, manage and continuously monitor the Construction Training Matrix, organise essential H&S/ HR Compliance training, ensuring all our people are fullycompetentand safe.
  • Assisting the Construction Director in the collation and production of Gateway presentation packs relevant to potential new site developments.

    Grade 4 or equivalent GCSE in Maths and English
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Collaborativeteam player
  • Ability to work under own initiative and manage time effectively
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Organised, proactive and ability to prioritise workload
