Full Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Building Fabric Joiner to join one of the UK's leading Universities in their Estates & Facilities team. You will work within the Building Fabric Maintenance team across the Loughborough campus, completing reactive works for students, staff, academics and tenants. Your new role The role will require you to carry out joinery and allied trades work in connection with the maintenance and minor alterations required to University controlled premises. You will complete reactive and preventative works when requested via the online Archibus management programme. You will become familiar with equipment on campus to complete your role and undertake further training where required.

· NVQ level 2 diploma or equivalent in Carpentry / Joinery site work & bench work · Education to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths & English · Demonstrate ability to understand Drawings / schematic drawings · To have IT skills in order to carry out the duties required by the role · Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams · Work in a wide range of maintenance disciplines · Experience of site and shop work Our Benefits
